Security forces destroyed two explosives-laden vehicles and killed four militants during a successful intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Khuzdar district.

According to ISPR, an intelligence-based operation (IBO) was conducted in Khuzdar on July 30, 2026, after receiving information about the presence of militants belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan, a group the sources described as being backed by India. During the operation, security forces employed timely and professional tactics to track the militants’ movement.

The sources said two vehicles, which had been packed with explosives and prepared as Vehicle-Borne Improvised Explosive Devices (VBIEDs), were intercepted during the operation. Security forces immediately destroyed both explosive-laden vehicles along with the militants, killing four alleged India-backed militants.

Officials said the timely action foiled a potentially major terrorist attack and prevented significant loss of human lives.

According to security sources, search and clearance operations are continuing in the area to locate any remaining militants or facilitators and bring them to justice. Security forces are thoroughly combing the area to dismantle all militant networks.

Security officials reaffirmed their commitment to continue counterterrorism operations across the country in line with the vision of Azm-e-Istehkam, the national counterterrorism campaign approved under the National Action Plan by the Federal Apex Committee.

Officials added that Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue operations without interruption until terrorism, including that allegedly supported from abroad, is completely eliminated and lasting peace is established in the country.
