Pakistani showbiz industry’s renowned actor and host Ahsan Khan has revealed that he once suffered from depression and also shared how he coped with it.


He highlighted the spiritual impact of a significant chapter from the Holy Quran while discussing mental stress and ways to overcome it.


Recently, Ahsan Khan appeared on a podcast, where he openly spoke about his personal experiences and views on mental health.
He shared that he went through depression after working in the drama serial Udaari.


According to him, the Holy Quran acknowledges feelings similar to depression and also provides guidance to overcome them.


Ahsan Khan explained that Surah Ad-Duha carries a message of hope and reassurance, teaching that Allah never abandons a person, even in times of hardship and loneliness.


He further added that helping others is also considered a source of mental peace in Islam. When you do good for others, it positively impacts your own emotional well-being.


According to Ahsan Khan, the Holy Quran not only recognizes issues like depression but also offers solutions, and reciting Surah Ad-Duha can bring comfort and hope to a person.
