He stated that the operation took place in Hill Top, Dobando Dara, Masala Banda, Shandal Bagh, Itan Dara, Bagh Kale, Sanger, and Shandal Bagh areas.

During the operation, two civilians were martyred, while 10 personnel of the police and CTD sustained injuries.

Security Forces eliminate 47 Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists in Sambaza operation

In another instance, from August 7 to 9, security forces eliminated a major group of Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists who were attempting to cross the border in the Sambaza area of Balochistan, according to security sources.

During the operation, security forces killed 47 terrorists, most of whom were Afghan nationals, the sources said.

They added that many of the terrorists were killed near the border and their bodies fell on the Afghan side. Even after 15 days, no one from Afghanistan came to collect the bodies, which remained decomposing in the open.

On August 25, following a jirga with Afghan officials at the border, the bodies were taken away on donkeys.

Eliminating this large formation of Fitna al-Khawarij before they could carry out any terrorist activity is a major success for Pakistan’s security and intelligence agencies, the sources emphasised.
