NADRA Announces New ID Card and Smart ID Card Fees

NADRA has announced new identity card (CNIC) and smart ID card fees for October 2025. According to the details, the normal ID card fee has been fixed at Rs 400 with a processing time of 15 days, the urgent ID card fee has been kept at Rs 1150 with a processing time of 12 days, while the executive ID card fee has been fixed at Rs 2150 with a processing time of 6 days. Similarly, the normal card fee for Smart NIC is Rs 750 with a processing time of 31 days. The Urgent Card fee is Rs 1500 while the processing time is kept at 15 days, and the Executive Card fee is fixed at Rs 2500 with a processing time of 9 days. According to NADRA, the new fees are intended to provide more convenience to citizens so that they can choose the processing speed and fees according to their need and preference. Additionally, for citizens who urgently need an identity card, the executive option provides the fastest service, limiting the waiting period to just a few days.
