Web Desk: Answer keys for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2026 have been released, allowing candidates to compare their responses with the official keys and estimate their scores.
More than 100,000 students appeared in the nationwide examination on Sunday, with separate testing bodies conducting the assessment across the four provinces.
In Sindh, the test was administered by the Sindh Testing Service (STS) at nine locations, including Karachi, Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazirabad, Larkana, Sukkur and Islamabad.
STS has made answer keys available for paper versions A, B, C and D.
Candidates can use the carbon copy of their answer sheet to identify their paper version and compare their responses with the corresponding official key. This allows them to calculate an estimated score before the final results are announced.
In Punjab, the University of Health Sciences (UHS) conducted MDCAT 2026 examinations across 15 cities.
The test was held in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, Sialkot, Sargodha, Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Gujrat, Rahim Yar Khan, Mianwali and Bahawalnagar.
Candidates can now use the carbon copies of their answer forms to match their responses against the UHS answer key and work out their expected marks.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Khyber Medical University conducted the MDCAT at centers in Peshawar, Mardan, Swat, Lower Dir, Dera Ismail Khan, Kohat, Abbottabad, Malakand and other areas.
Candidates can check the relevant answer key and compare it with the answers recorded on their copies of the examination forms.
The release of the answer keys gives thousands of aspiring medical and dental students an early indication of their likely performance.
However, the estimated scores based on the answer keys should not be treated as final results. The official MDCAT 2026 results are expected to be announced within a week.
The final results will determine the next stage of the admission process for candidates seeking places in medical and dental colleges.
