The proscribed JAAC is circulating a false report of intense shelling near Gurdwara area in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
According to authorities AJK such reports are far from reality and there are no such incidents happened in the mentioned areas. Authorities further clarified that such posts are circulated with vicious designs to create anarchy and to create panic in general public.
Authorities have strongly negated these claims and vowed to take strong actions against such elements. They have also urged public to discourage such elements and only to believe news and updates verified by state authorities.
Foreign-linked armed group seeks to sabotage AJK election process
According to sources, a group is gathering armed individuals in the Dhirk area near Rawalakot and is attempting to move forward. The sources claim that an armed group is currently present in Dhirk.
Plan to Disrupt the Election Process
Sources allege that these disruptive elements are planning to interfere with the electoral process in Azad Kashmir. They claim the group’s objective is to create tension, incite violence, and cause casualties in order to build a particular narrative. The report further alleges that these activities are being directed by foreign handlers.

According to the sources, the state will not yield to pressure or provocation and will ensure the rule of law under all circumstances. They state that the election process will continue according to the scheduled timetable, as the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir wish to see the elections take place.

The report further claims that the public has rejected politics based on unrest and that the disruptive, proscribed committee’s approach has not received public support. It states that people are rejecting the disruptive narrative and are participating actively in the electoral process.
