GHQ announces over 100 job opportunities for all Pakistani’s

General Headquarters (GHQ) Pakistan has advertised new civilian job opportunities across several BPS scales, inviting online applications through the official recruitment portal.

The notice lists province-wise quotas, age limits, typing skills and IT course requirements.

The advertisement includes positions such as Assistant (BPS-15), Stenotypist (BPS-14), Upper Division Clerk—UDC (BPS-13), Lower Division Clerk—LDC (BPS-11) and other technical and support staff in lower grades.

Vacancies are distributed under federal rules for Punjab, Sindh (R/U), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, AJK/GB and minorities.

Seats are filled strictly on merit within the notified quotas.

Eligibility and skills

Age limits generally range from 18 to 30 years (with relaxations where allowed).

Clerical posts require computer literacy and certified IT skills; candidates may need to complete the NITB course.

Typing speed benchmarks apply typically 20–30 w.p.m. for clerical roles.

While stenotypists must meet shorthand/typing standards (around 80/40 w.p.m.) as stated in the notice.

Educational requirements vary by post, from intermediate/graduate for office roles to relevant experience for technical and support categories.

How to apply

Applications must be submitted online via the official recruitment portal as per the advertisement, hard copies are not accepted.

Applicants should upload CNIC, academic certificates and experience documents where required.

Whereas, government servants must apply through the proper channel with NOC.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests/interviews; no TA/DA will be admissible.

Additionally, original documents will be verified at the time of interview.

Candidates are advised to read the advertisement carefully for post-wise criteria, number of seats and the closing date, and to apply well before the deadline to avoid portal rush.
