RAWALPINDI: At least three children embraced martyrdom and five others were injured in a blast from explosives left by the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists Fitna al Khwarij in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bajaur, the security sources reported.

Police said in Bajaur’s Laghari area, children were playing with un-defused explosives shells left behind by the Khawarij that blasted with huge explosion, killing three innocent children and injuring another five.

Furthermore, police and relevant authorities cordoned off the area, collected evidence, and initiated an investigation.

Earlier, security forces killed 17 Indian sponsored khwarij in an intelligence based operation in Lakki Marwat District, on reported presence of khwarij belonging to Indian Proxy, Fitna al Khwarij.

“During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the khwarij location and resultantly, seventeen Indian sponsored khwarij were sent to hell,” said a news release issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
