Babar Azam ruled out in Bangladesh test match

Pakistan cricket team has suffered a major setback ahead of the first Test match against Bangladesh, as star batter Babar Azam has been ruled out due to injury.

According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Babar Azam will not be able to play the first Test against Bangladesh due to pain in his left knee. The team’s medical panel is continuously monitoring his injury.

The PCB further stated that updates regarding Babar Azam’s fitness will be shared at the appropriate time.

Babar Azam’s absence is being considered a major loss for the Pakistan team, as he is among the key batters of the side. Cricket fans are also praying for the quick recovery of the national team’s star player.

It is worth noting that the first Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh will begin tomorrow at 9:00 AM in Mirpur, Dhaka.

Babar Azam’s exclusion happens at a crucial time for Pakistan, as the team is already preparing for a tougher Test series away from home conditions. His skills and consistency in the middle order have often provided an edge to the batting lineup, making his unavailability a significant gap for the team.

The medical team continue monitoring his knee injury closely over the coming days. Observing his recovery progress, a decision regarding his inclusion in the remaining matches of the series will be made, while the team may also consider possible replacements to strengthen the batting unit.
