A large group of terrorists belonging to the “Fitna al-Hindustan” attempted to attack the town of Nal in Khuzdar district of Balochistan on 8 June 2026.
Security forces immediately launched a strong and effective counter-operation and killed 12 terrorists. During a fierce exchange of fire, one brave soldier embraced martyrdom in the defense of the homeland. Due to the strict and effective response of the security forces, the terrorists were forced to retreat and flee.
The area has been completely secured, while ground and aerial operations are ongoing to search for the fleeing terrorists.
According to security sources, the terrorists attempted to advance from multiple directions to spread unrest in the area; however, security forces responded immediately with a strong counter-action. In the intense exchange of fire, 12 terrorists were killed, while the remaining attackers fled due to the strict and effective operation by the forces.
Security sources said that during the operation, one brave son of the soil embraced martyrdom while performing his duty. The martyred soldier set a high example of courage and bravery and played an important role in foiling the evil designs of the terrorists.
The forces have taken full control of the area, and clearance and search operations are ongoing in Nal and surrounding areas. Ground and aerial surveillance is also being continued to track the fleeing terrorists.
According to security officials, operations will continue until the complete elimination of terrorist elements and full restoration of peace and order in the area. The authorities have reiterated their resolve that operations against anti-state elements and terrorists will continue without discrimination, and every attempt to harm Pakistan’s peace and stability will be foiled.
