Web Desk: The International Cricket Council (ICC) released its latest One Day International and T20 player rankings on Wednesday, with several top players retaining their positions while others made notable gains.
In the T20 batter rankings, India’s Abhishek Sharma maintained his top position. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan held firm at third place, continuing his strong run in the format.
Elsewhere, Bangladesh’s Towhid Hridoy climbed nine places to reach 39th, reflecting improved recent performances.
In the T20 bowling rankings, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan retained the number one spot. Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed remained steady at third place, underlining his growing consistency at the international level.
Additionally, Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza continued to lead the T20 all-rounder rankings, holding onto his top position.
In the ODI batter rankings, New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell stayed at number one, while India’s Virat Kohli retained second place.
However, Bangladesh’s Najmul Hossain Shanto made significant progress, jumping 11 places to reach 32nd.
In the ODI bowling rankings, Rashid Khan once again led the table, maintaining his dominance in the format. Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed held his 11th position.
Meanwhile, several Bangladesh bowlers recorded upward movement. Shoriful Islam rose 11 places to 28th, Mustafizur Rahman climbed 14 spots to 41st, and Nahid Rana advanced 16 positions to 48th.
Consequently, the latest rankings highlighted both stability among elite performers and rising momentum from emerging players across teams.
