Balochistan: Locals fight back against FAH terrorists in Jhal Magsi

Web Desk: Three suspected militants were reportedly killed in an armed confrontation in Balochistan’s Jhal Magsi district on Sunday after residents resisted an alleged attempt to set property on fire.

According to preliminary reports, armed men identified as members of a group referred to as FAH attempted to carry out an arson attack in the area. However, local residents confronted the suspects and resisted their actions.

The reports said the suspects opened fire after encountering resistance, prompting an armed response from a local civilian lashkar, or community militia.

Meanwhile, Frontier Corps (FC) combat teams and police rushed to the scene after receiving information about the confrontation.

During the ensuing exchange of fire, three suspected FAH militants were reportedly killed.

The incident highlights security challenges in parts of Balochistan, where local communities and security forces face threats from armed groups.
