According to the report, the new update for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max is expected to be iOS 27.0.1, which is expected to resolve issues related to restarts and Face ID.
The new iPhone 18 Pro models feature changes to the Face ID system, under which the sensitive camera has been moved beneath the display near the clock, reducing the visible portion of the Dynamic Island by up to 25 percent.
The report said that an initial teardown of the iPhone 18 Pro showed the camera separated from the other components of the front module and connected through three different cables.

According to Apple, if an iPhone becomes frozen, users should press and quickly release the volume-up button, then press and quickly release the volume-down button, and then press and hold the side button.
