Gold prices witness another decline in global and local markets

Gold prices in Pakistan


Karachi – March 5, 2026: Gold and silver prices recorded a decline in both international and local markets on Thursday.


In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce fell by $28, reaching $5,144.


Meanwhile, in the local bullion markets, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs 2,800, bringing it down to Rs 537,162. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs 2,401 to Rs 460,529.


Silver prices also witnessed a decline in the local market. The price per tola of silver decreased by Rs 194 to Rs 8,810, while the price of 10 grams of silver fell by Rs 166 to Rs 7,553.


It is worth mentioning that a day earlier, gold prices had declined while silver prices had recorded an increase.
