Renowned Hollywood actor Javier Bardem made a statement at the 98th Academy Awards that captured widespread attention.
The Spanish actor was on stage alongside Indian actress Priyanka Chopra, where the two were set to present the award for Best International Feature Film at the Dolby Theatre.
At the start of his speech, Bardem chanted “No to War” and “Free Palestine,” drawing loud applause from the audience.
He was also wearing two badges on his coat—one against war and another in support of Palestine—making his message even more explicit.
