Web Desk: The National Database and Registration Authority announced a nationwide closure of its offices in observance of Ashura.
Specifically, regular registration centers across Pakistan will remain closed on June 25 and June 26, 2026. Therefore, citizens must plan their visits around these scheduled dates to avoid inconvenience.
Meanwhile, the authority has structured a separate timeline for its 24-hour mega centers. These round-the-clock facilities will close their doors starting from midnight between June 24 and June 25.
Furthermore, the management will keep these centers closed throughout the holidays. Normal operations at these specific sites will resume on June 27 at 8:00 a.m.
However, the standard weekend policies will apply immediately after the break. Mega centers that routinely operate on Saturdays will open for the public as usual.
In the meantime, citizens can still access essential identity registration services through digital channels. The organization encouraged individuals to utilize the Pak Identity mobile application which will remain fully functional during the Ashura holidays.
