The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has issued a new fee structure for its various services.
According to private a TV channel, the fee for each service varies depending on the category, namely normal, urgent and executive. The details have been shared for public guidance so that citizens are aware of the applicable fees when obtaining identity documents.
The normal fee for Form B (CRC) has been set at Rs50, while the service is not available under the urgent category and the executive fee is Rs500. Similarly, the normal fee for a Juvenile Card is Rs750, the urgent fee is Rs1,500 and the executive fee is Rs2,500.
Citizens have been provided with significant relief when applying for a national identity card for the first time. The normal category for a first-time national identity card is free, while the urgent fee is Rs1,150 and the executive fee is Rs2,150. The fee for a Smart National Identity Card is also the same as that of a Juvenile Card, with the normal fee set at Rs750, urgent at Rs1,500 and executive at Rs2,500.
For overseas Pakistanis, the fee for the National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) varies according to the designated zone. For Zone A, comprising the United States, Europe and Australia, the normal fee is $39, urgent $57 and executive $75. Meanwhile, for Zone B, which includes the Middle East, Africa and other Asian countries, the normal fee is $20, urgent $30 and executive $40.
Similarly, the Pakistan Origin Card (POC) carries the highest fee, with the normal fee set at $150, urgent at $200 and executive at $250.
NADRA stated that citizens can visit the authority’s official website for further details and updates regarding the fees.
