Evidence of the involvement of Afghan elements in terrorism in Pakistan has surfaced once again.
According to security sources, Afghan nationals were among the Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists killed in the Mastung attack. An Afghan General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI) card was recovered from slain terrorist Zulfiqar, alias Abu Umar, while an Afghan Tazkira was recovered from another slain terrorist, Khalil Ahmed.
Security sources stated that an alleged nexus between Indian intelligence agency RAW and the Taliban regime for carrying out terrorism in Pakistan had also been revealed in an intelligence report earlier.
According to the classified report, a joint covert network between Indian intelligence agency RAW and Afghan Taliban intelligence was uncovered in 2025.
The report stated that RAW paid $7.8 million for sabotage and terrorism in Balochistan. It further claimed that weapons and logistical support were provided to Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists on the instructions of Mullah Hibatullah.
A letter reportedly written by Taliban leader Mullah Hibatullah to provide weapons to Fitna al-Hindustan through the Taliban regime was also described as clear evidence of the alleged nexus between the two sides.
According to security sources, Indian intelligence agency RAW, in collaboration with the Taliban regime, is using Afghan territory for the training, financing and provision of safe havens to terrorists involved in terrorism in Pakistan.
