Mashal Khan reveals why she left the drama industry

WEBDESK: Pakistani actress Mashal Khan has revealed why she stepped away from television dramas, despite her huge success in the industry.

Her last drama appearance was in ARY Digital’s Ehsaan Faramosh in 2023. Since then, she has moved to hosting a finance related programme on a news channel.

Recently, Mashal used her social media to share the reason behind her decision. Posting pictures along with a candid note, she told fans that she chose to step away from acting in order to focus on her education.

She wrote: “POV: Life when you choose to study and work hard instead of being an evil spawn of satan who scams people for a living.”
