Karachi : Gold prices have once again surged across jewelry markets in Pakistan, continuing the recent trend of sharp fluctuations.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs6,200, reaching Rs539,562.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs5,316, bringing it to Rs462,587 across the country.

Meanwhile, in the international market, gold prices dropped by $394, settling at $8,019 per ounce.

Market experts say gold prices in Pakistan often move in response to fluctuations in the international market and changes in the value of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar. They note that economic uncertainty, global geopolitical tensions, and investor demand for safe-haven assets frequently push gold prices higher.

Analysts further believe that continued volatility in global markets could keep gold prices unstable in the coming days, with investors closely monitoring international economic developments.
