RAWALPINDI: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir met with the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani, during his visit.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting focused on bilateral cooperation and the regional security landscape. Both sides discussed ways to strengthen Pakistan-Iran relations and held an in-depth exchange on the current security situation in the region.

During the meeting, Field Marshal Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to promoting peace and stability in the region. He highlighted the need for closer cooperation with Iran to counter terrorism and underscored the growing importance of strategic collaboration in light of evolving geostrategic developments.
Ali Larijani appreciated Pakistan’s crucial role in fostering regional peace and stability. He also expressed Iran’s desire to further enhance bilateral ties and stressed that sustained dialogue and partnership between Pakistan and Iran are essential for meeting regional challenges and achieving lasting stability.
Earlier, in October this month, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir had visited to key Arab nations including Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia where Arab leaders expressed full confidence and trust in Pakistan’s armed forces.
The high-level meetings focused on counter-terrorism, defense cooperation, and intelligence-sharing. These visits emerged as a strong symbol of military unity, solidarity, and collaboration among Muslim countries.
As a result of Field Marshal Munir’s diplomatic and military engagements, Pakistan’s role in promoting regional peace, stability, and collective security has been further highlighted. The army chief’s proactive military diplomacy is enhancing Pakistan’s global prestige. Following these efforts, Pakistan is now emerging on the world stage as a strong, respected, and influential nation.
