Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday announced its squad for the upcoming Hong Kong Sixes 2025 tournament, scheduled to take place from November 7 to 9 in Hong Kong.

Fast bowler Abbas Afridi has been named captain of the national side for the six-a-side format competition.

The tournament will feature 12 international teams, divided into four groups of three. Pakistan has been placed in Group C, alongside traditional rival India and Kuwait.

Pakistan’s Previous Wins at Hong Kong Sixes

Pakistan national cricket team emerge as champions on multiple occasions. Two notable wins are:

3 November 2002: Pakistan defeated England in the final to win the tournament.

30 October 2011: Pakistan again beat England and claimed the title, equaling England’s record of five wins at that time.
