Lahore: The Punjab government announced on Thursday that all schools across the province will close for winter holidays starting December 22, reopening on January 10, according to Minister of Education Punjab Rana Sikandar Hayat. An official notification has also been issued in this regard by government of Punjab.

Education Minister Confirms Dates

Punjab Education Minister stated that the closure applies to both public and private educational institutions. He emphasized that the break aims to provide students and staff with rest during the colder months while ensuring continuity of learning through other academic programs.

Schools to Resume After January 10

Authorities have advised schools to prepare for reopening on January 10 and continue scheduled academic activities thereafter. Parents and students are encouraged to use the holiday period productively while following any local safety guidelines.

The provincial government said it will monitor the situation and provide updates if any changes to the schedule become necessary.
