Senior actress Bushra Ansari has explained why she has retained the family name “Ansari” with her name despite divorcing her first husband.

Recently, the actress appeared in an interview where she discussed various topics, including the early days of her career.

At the beginning of the interview, the host introduced the actress as “Bushra Bashir.” Bushra Ansari then clarified that her name is Bushra Ansari, although her name is listed as Bushra Bashir on official documents.

The actress said many people advise her to remove “Ansari” from her name. However, she responds that she does not want to remove the name “Ansari” and create further confusion among people.

Giving an example, Bushra Ansari said the same thing happened with Saba Hameed, and for a long time people continued to call her Saba Parvez.

The actress said that both of her daughters are also Ansari, and Mr. Ansari has no issue with her retaining “Ansari” with her name, so why should other people be concerned about it?

It should be noted that Bushra Ansari was first married to Iqbal Ansari, with whom she has two daughters. Their marriage lasted for 36 years before ending in divorce.
