Web Desk: Pakistan’s meteorological authorities forecast a mix of dry conditions and scattered rainfall across the country today, with isolated areas likely to receive showers and even hail.

According to the Met Office, Islamabad is expected to see dry weather with partly cloudy skies. Similarly, nearby hill stations including Murree and the Galiyat region are likely to remain dry under partly cloudy conditions.

However, rain is anticipated in several districts of southern Punjab. Forecasters say areas such as Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Bahawalpur, Bhakkar, Mianwali, and Khushab may experience rainfall at scattered locations.

Meanwhile, most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are expected to remain dry. Nevertheless, rain is likely at isolated spots in Bannu, Karak, Dera Ismail Khan, and Chitral. In addition, parts of Waziristan, Kurram, and Hangu could also receive showers.

In Sindh, dry weather is expected to prevail in most districts. However, isolated rainfall may occur in Sukkur, Dadu, and Sanghar.

Further west, parts of Balochistan may experience more active weather. The Met Office predicts rain and possible hailstorms in Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, and Qila Abdullah at scattered locations.

Overall, while much of the country will remain dry, the forecast highlights pockets of rainfall across multiple regions, signaling a varied weather pattern for the day.
