Web Desk: Pakistan’s national identity authority has issued a warning to citizens with expired identity documents, urging them to renew their cards or complete pending registrations before a June 2026 deadline.

In a statement, the National Database and Registration Authority said it had alerted citizens whose Computerised National Identity Cards have expired. The authority asked them to renew their cards promptly to avoid complications.

Officials also advised parents to convert their children’s B-Form into a CNIC once they become eligible. In addition, the authority urged families who have not yet registered their children to obtain a B-Form without delay.

Furthermore, NADRA said all required actions must be completed before June 30, 2026. Otherwise, citizens may face additional fees or penalties.

The authority issued these directives under Section 30(1)(e) of the NADRA Ordinance 2000. It emphasized that timely compliance will help citizens avoid inconvenience and ensure continued access to essential services.
