US Iran talks 2026

US President Donald Trump, in an interview with an American media outlet, said regarding the ongoing conflict with Iran that the matter will soon be resolved through a major agreement.

According to the US media outlet, he stated that reaching a deal with Iran is the only workable path and that the current situation cannot continue for long.

Trump said that there is very little time left for a ceasefire and that he does not want any extension in this regard. He added that the United States is currently in a stronger and better position for negotiations, while pressure on Iran has already been increased.

He also claimed that Iran’s naval and air capabilities have been significantly affected and that its central leadership has also suffered serious damage, leaving Iran with no option except a deal. According to him, the current situation is forcing Iran to come to the negotiating table.

The US President further said that a military option is also available to resolve the issue with Iran and that the United States is prepared for every possible scenario. He stated that the pressure policy on Iran has proven effective and its results are becoming visible.

He also added that although he had not previously spoken directly about regime change, the effects of internal change in Iran are now becoming visible on their own.
