India’s Shubman Gill remains at the top of the ODI batting rankings, while Babar Azam is in sixth place.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest Test and ODI player rankings, with Pakistan captain Babar Azam moving up five places to return to the top 10 among Test batters.
According to the new rankings, Babar Azam has climbed five spots and re-entered the top 10 in Test batting. Pakistan batter Abdullah Shafique has also made a significant jump of 25 places to reach 32nd position.
Among Pakistan’s other Test batters, Salman Ali Agha is ranked 38th, while Shan Masood is in 39th place. In the Test bowling rankings, Pakistan spinner Noman Ali remains in eighth position.

The new ICC rankings highlight Pakistan’s continued presence among the leading performers both on batting and bowling fronts. Babar Azam’s return to the Test top 10 provides a boost for Pakistan, while Abdullah Shafique’s rise also manifests his improved standing in the format.
