The father of famous Pakistani singer Atif Aslam, Mohammad Aslam, passed away on Tuesday in Lahore. The news of the death was confirmed on Tuesday, after which fans and Atif Aslam took to social media to express condolences to the family. Social media was filled with condolence messages.

Atif Aslam, in many publicly available interviews, has often credited his father for his success. Atif was very fond of his late father. The funeral prayer of 77-year-old Mohammad Aslam will be offered in Valencia Town, Lahore.
