Web desk: Mostly hot and very humid conditions are expected to continue across much of the country today, according to the latest Pakistan weather update.
However, there will be isolated showers and thunderstorms in some areas, including the Pothohar region, Islamabad, northeast Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and nearby hilly regions.
According to the current weather situation, a seasonal low-pressure system is present over northern Balochistan. Weak moist winds from the Arabian Sea are reaching the northern parts of the country. Additionally, a shallow westerly wave is influencing the upper areas.

Following is the regional weather forecast based on the latest Pakistan weather update.
Balochistan weather
On Tuesday, most parts of Balochistan will remain hot and humid. Rain and thunderstorms are possible at a few places, such as Khuzdar, Zhob, Musakhel, and nearby areas.
Sindh weather
Tuesday will bring mainly hot and very humid weather to most of Sindh. Coastal areas, including Karachi, may see partly cloudy skies with light rain or drizzle.
Punjab weather
The province will experience mainly hot and very humid weather on Tuesday. Some places, including Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiyat, Jhelum, Attock, Chakwal, Gujrat, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Hafizabad, and nearby areas, could see isolated rain, thunderstorms, or wind.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa weather
Hot and very humid conditions are expected across much of the province. Rain and thunderstorms are likely at isolated spots such as Swat, Dir, Kohistan, Battagram, Haripur, Nowshehra, Mansehra, Abbottabad, and surrounding regions.
Islamabad weather
Tuesday’s weather will be partly cloudy and humid, with a 45 per cent chance of rain, wind, and thunderstorms at isolated locations in and around Islamabad.
Kashmir weather
Cloudy skies are expected, with isolated rain and thunderstorms in Kashmir on Tuesday.
Gilgit-Baltistan weather
Gilgit-Baltistan will see hot and partly cloudy weather on Tuesday.
In the last 24 hours, hot and humid conditions prevailed over most of the country, while Gilgit-Baltistan experienced isolated rain and thunderstorms. Babusar recorded 17 mm of rain.
The highest temperatures recorded today include Dalbandin at 45°C, and Nokundi, Dadu, and Chilas at 44°C.

From Tuesday to Saturday, places such as Muzaffarabad, Neelum Valley, Murree, Galiyat, Kalam, Malam Jabba, Naran, and Kaghan should expect cloudy weather with occasional rain, wind, and thunderstorms.
On Friday and Saturday, partly cloudy conditions with chances of rain and thunderstorms are forecast for Chitral, Dir, Gilgit, Hunza, and Skardu. Meanwhile, Ziarat and nearby areas will continue to have hot and dry weather over the next few days.
