The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released seven players from the Pakistan Test team.
According to the PCB, Mohammad Rizwan, Imam-ul-Haq, Salman Ali Agha, Aamer Jamal, Ali Usman, Owais Zafar, and Khurram Shahzad have been released.
Seven replacement players have been added to the squad. Of these seven players, five have yet to receive a Test cap, while two have already played Test cricket.
The replacement players are Saim Ayub, Abdullah Fazal, Arafat Minhas, Mohammad Imran Jr., Saad Baig, Mohammad Imran Randhawa, and Razaullah.
The players will join the squad in England before the third Test.
In addition, head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed and bowling coach Umar Gul have also been released. They will be replaced by will be replaced by Mike Hesson and Ashley Noffke in the backroom staff.

Pakistan’s record was last negative in 1987.
After drawing a Test against England at The Oval in August 1987, Pakistan had played 170 Test matches, recording 39 wins and 40 defeats.
Pakistan’s consistently poor performance in Test cricket over the past few years has laid the foundation for this historic negative record, which also reflects the team’s current crisis.
