The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced the results of the CSS 2026 written examinations.
According to the FPSC, the pass rate in the CSS 2026 written examination was just 2.74%.
A total of 476 candidates passed the written examination, including 239 men and 237 women.
According to the commission, 17,351 candidates appeared for the CSS 2026 written examination.
The FPSC has published the list of successful candidates on its official website. The schedule for their medical examinations, psychological assessments and interviews will be announced soon.
The CSS examination process commenced with the Multiple Choice Questions Preliminary Test (MPT), for which 63,368 candidates submitted applications. Of these, 43,189 candidates appeared in the MPT, while 36,758 candidates qualified for the next stage.
The written examination is a preliminary stage of the competitive examination process through which candidates are selected for appointments to Pakistan’s federal civil services.
The successful candidates will now pursue the next stages of the selection process, including medical examination, psychological assessment and viva voce.

Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bukhari’s daughter, Dr. Widyat, has passed the CSS written examination.
