The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the schedule for the Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team’s tour of Sri Lanka, set to take place in July.
According to private TV channel , the Pakistan women’s team will play a total of six matches in Sri Lanka. The tour includes three One Day Internationals (ODIs) scheduled for July 23, 25, and 28, which are part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2025–29.
Pakistan women’s team is currently ranked second on the Women’s Championship points table. The team has played six matches so far, winning four and earning 8 points. New Zealand leads the table with 13 points, although it has played three more matches than Pakistan.
The tour also includes three T20 International matches, scheduled for July 31, August 2, and August 4.
In T20 history, both teams have faced each other 21 times, with Pakistan winning 11 matches, Sri Lanka winning 9, and one match ending with no result.
In ODIs, the two sides have met 34 times. Sri Lanka holds the edge with 22 wins, while Pakistan has won 11 matches.
The stipulated series is expected to be crucial for Pakistan’srace in the ICC Women’s Championship, as strong performances could significantly boost their position on the points table and boost qualification chances for future global tournaments.
