Web Desk: Pakistani actor Faisal Quraishi has revealed that fellow actor Saba Qamar became so deeply immersed in her roles that she experienced health complications, including minor heart attacks, while working on projects.
Speaking during a private television program, Quraishi praised Qamar’s dedication and described her as one of Pakistan’s finest performers. However, he also expressed concern about the intensity with which she approaches her characters.
“Saba is an exceptional actor,” Quraishi said during the interview. He added that she often becomes completely absorbed in the emotional demands of a role, leaving colleagues worried during filming.
According to Quraishi, Qamar’s commitment to method-style acting has occasionally taken a toll on her health. He said the actor had suffered minor heart attacks as a result of the immense pressure and emotional strain associated with her performances.
Furthermore, Quraishi recalled advising Qamar to remain calm and avoid overexerting herself while on set. He noted that she is known for her professionalism and frequently arrives at filming locations ahead of schedule.
His comments come after Qamar previously spoke publicly about experiencing health challenges, including stress-related issues that required medical attention.
Qamar remains one of Pakistan’s most acclaimed actors, earning widespread recognition for her performances in television dramas and films. Meanwhile, Quraishi’s remarks have sparked fresh discussion about the physical and emotional demands actors face while portraying intense characters.
