Emerging Pakistani showbiz actress Mamya Shajaffar has revealed that she suffered from a serious illness.
Mamya Shajaffar recently appeared as a guest on a private TV channel’s Eid special transmission, where she spoke about the difficulties faced during the shooting of her new film Love The Sun.
She said that it took three years to complete the shooting of the film because she was also working on other projects and, during that period, she became seriously ill.
The actress revealed that she was undergoing treatment for her illness and said, “You can say that I was taking medication for cancer treatment.”
She further shared that it took her eight months to recover, but now, by the grace of Allah, she is healthy and has returned to work.
Mamya Shajaffar also stated that the illness she was suffering from at the time required proper medical treatment.
Mamya Shajaffar controversy with Arslan Butt:
Actor Arslan Butt has sent legal notice to fellow actor Mamya Shajaffar over an interview in which she termed his behaviour “uncomfortable”, while working on a joint project.
The notice has referred to Shajaffar’s appearance on Iffat Omar’s YouTube show. She opened up about her experience on a set without labelling anyone initially. But online users linked her comments to Arslan Butt.
Mamya Shajaffar’s interview with Omar was released on May 21. In it, she mentioned a number of instances in which “Arsalan’s” behaviour made her “feel uncomfortable”.
