Momina Iqbal, a well-known actress from the Pakistani showbiz industry, is set to get married, with her wedding date now revealed.
For the past few days, rumors about Momina Iqbal’s marriage had been circulating on social media, and now her sister, Rimsha Iqbal, has confirmed the news.
Before her wedding, the actress is currently going through a difficult phase in her life. She recently revealed that an influential political figure has allegedly been issuing death threats to her and her family.
Momina Iqbal had also shared an Instagram story regarding the matter, after which the police department took immediate action. It is now hoped that the issue will be resolved soon.
Momina Iqbal’s case is being pursued by her sister, Rimsha Iqbal, who is a lawyer by profession.
Recently, while speaking to the media about developments in the case, Rimsha Iqbal also shared details about the actress’s wedding.
She said that the response during the legal proceedings had been positive and thanked the media for its support. She added that all evidence had been submitted and that the MPA had also been summoned.
Rimsha Iqbal stated that they do not want to highlight the matter too much in the media. She said the family faced difficulties but also received support, and security had been provided by the government.
In the online harassment case, authorities have also provided security to Momina Iqbal’s future in-laws because they too allegedly received threats.
She revealed that Momina Iqbal is getting married to Muhammad Hamza Habibi, and the Nikah ceremony will take place on June 1. According to Rimsha, the marriage has been arranged with the consent of both families, and Momina’s future husband is not related to them.
Rimsha Iqbal further said that she will personally fight Momina Iqbal’s case. She added that she completed her law degree abroad and also has legal experience in Pakistan.
