Marka-e-Haq Victory: President, Prime Minister congratulate nation, Armed Forces

PM,President extend Marka-e Haq message


The first anniversary of the success of Marka-e-Haq has been completed. In his message, President Asif Ali Zardari termed the leadership and courageous decisions of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir as key factors behind the success of Marka-e-Haq, while the Prime Minister said that the Pakistani nation can neither be intimidated nor forced to bow down.


According to a statement issued by the Presidency, President Asif Ali Zardari praised the extraordinary skill and professional capabilities of the Chief of Air Staff and the Shaheens of the Pakistan Air Force.


He also described the defensive capabilities of the Pakistan Navy and its chief as a matter of national pride for the country’s security.


The President stated that Pakistan is a responsible and peace-loving state which delivered a strong yet balanced response to enemy aggression, sending a clear message to the world regarding its defence capabilities.


“Pakistani Nation Can Neither Be Intimidated Nor Bowed Down”: Prime Minister


In his message issued on the occasion of Marka-e-Haq, the Prime Minister said that the nation pays tribute to the martyrs and war heroes, adding that the martyrs stood like a wall of steel in defence of the homeland.


He said that the armed forces on land, sea, air and cyber fronts have made Pakistan an invincible power, and that the Pakistani nation can neither be intimidated nor bowed down.


The Prime Minister also paid tribute to the courageous leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, as well as the strategic wisdom of the Air Chief Marshal and the Admiral.

On the completion of the first year of Marka-e-Haq’s success, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, congratulated the nation and the armed forces of Pakistan.


According to ISPR, the chiefs of the Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force also extended congratulations to the nation and the armed forces.


The military spokesperson stated that the day, celebrated with national unity, reflects professionalism, courage and solidarity.
