Web Desk: Internal differences within Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf have intensified, as not a single party leader arrived at Adiala Jail on the scheduled day to meet the party founder, Imran Khan.

According to reports, the party had submitted a list of six leaders to prison authorities for the meeting. The names included Barrister Gohar, Salman Akram Raja (Secretary General), Hamid Khan, Latif Khosa, Babar Awan, and Intizar Hussain Panjutha.

However, none of the listed leaders arrived at the jail before the scheduled meeting time ended. This is the second such instance in the past three years when no party leader showed up for a meeting.

Sources said that tensions developed between central party leaders and Aleema Khan after a prior meeting between the party founder and Salman Safdar, which may have led to the absence of leaders on the meeting day.

The situation has led to deep speculations about internal coordination and unity within Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Such continued divisions at the top level could weaken the party’s overall strategy and public image.

Political analysts believe that if these differences are not resolved soon, they may further impact the party’s ability to effectively respond to the current political challenges facing Pakistan.

It is wort noting that the rift between the PTI and the TTAP also deepens after the latter declines a formal invitation to participate in an April 19 rally, laying bare internal divisions within the PTI.

PTI sources and a TTAP office-bearer claim Mehmood Khan Achakzai has refused to attend the April 19 rally, citing two concerns: that a rally in K-P would be useless, and that the TTAP was not taken into confidence prior to the announcement.
