Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has arrived in Tehran along with a high-level delegation as part of the second phase of ceasefire negotiations between Iran and the United States.
According ISPR, Pakistani delegation, led by Field Marshal Munir, landed in the Iranian capital earlier today, marking a significant step in ongoing diplomatic efforts.
The visit is aimed at facilitating preparations for the next round of negotiations, with Pakistan continuing its role as a key intermediary in the dialogue process.
During the visit, the Pakistani delegation is expected to hold high-level meetings with senior Iranian officials to discuss the framework and agenda for the upcoming phase of talks.
The development underscores Pakistan’s growing diplomatic involvement in regional peace efforts, particularly in easing tensions between Tehran and Washington.
