Web Desk: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will undertake a four-day official trip on Wednesday that will take him to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Türkiye, where he is set to engage in bilateral talks and participate in a major international forum, officials said.

The visit combines country-to-country engagements in the Gulf with a multilateral diplomatic gathering in Türkiye, reflecting Islamabad’s focus on strengthening partnerships and advancing its role in global discussions.

During stops in Saudi Arabia and Qatar, the prime minister is scheduled to meet senior leadership to review existing cooperation and explore avenues for deeper collaboration. Discussions are also expected to address regional peace and security, amid ongoing geopolitical challenges.

Officials said the meetings aim to reinforce economic and strategic ties while promoting dialogue on shared concerns affecting the broader region.

Following his Gulf engagements, Sharif will travel to Türkiye to attend the fifth edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum. The event brings together world leaders, policymakers and experts to deliberate on pressing international issues.

At the forum, the prime minister will join a leaders’ panel, where he is expected to outline Pakistan’s views on global developments and advocate for cooperative approaches to common challenges.

In addition to the main sessions, Sharif is likely to hold separate meetings with key international figures, including Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Officials said these interactions will provide an opportunity to expand bilateral cooperation and exchange perspectives on regional and global matters.

Authorities described the visit as part of Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to pursue active diplomacy and strengthen its engagement with the international community. Participation in the forum, they said, signals Islamabad’s intent to contribute constructively to dialogue on issues of global significance.

The prime minister is accompanied by a delegation that includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Information and Broadcasting Minister Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Syed Tariq Fatemi, along with other senior officials.
