Web desk: Air travel in the Middle East is gradually returning after disruption from the ongoing regional conflict.

Sources say Pakistan International Airlines now operates two daily flights to the United Arab Emirates. One flight travels to Dubai and the other goes to Abu Dhabi.

Authorities earlier allowed the airline to resume flights to Dammam in Saudi Arabia.

Officials later halted Dammam flights after a missile attack in Bahrain raised security concerns.

Flights to Jeddah Riyadh and Medina continue without disruption.

Pilots now follow an alternative route to reach Saudi Arabia. Aircraft fly over the Arabian Sea and then enter Saudi airspace through Yemen.

Flights to Europe and Canada face challenges because Iran closed its airspace.

Pilots now guide these flights through the Wakhan Corridor in Afghanistan before they continue toward their destinations.
