Fitna al khawarij terrorists have attempted to launch small drones in Abbotabad, Swabi and Nowshera.
According to information minister Atta Ullah Tarar, Pakistan’s anti-drone systems successfully intercepted and downed all the droness . No casualties or damage were reported in the incidents.
Atta Ullah further stated that these events once again expose the alleged nexus between the Afghan Taliban regime and terrorism activities inside Pakistan.
Futhermore, District Police Officer Swabi also confirmed the event. According to him drone reportedly crashed in the jurisdiction of Pabini, within Swabi police limits.
Police officials confirmed that that no casualties were reported in the incident.
The DSP and a heavy police contingent have been dispatched to the site, DPO Waqas Rafiq stated.
The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) has also been called, and the area has been cordoned off for investigation.
Initial assessments are underway to determine whether the drone was commercial in nature or linked to any hostile elements, the DPO added.
