PESHAWAR: A militant attack on the Federal Constabulary (FC) Headquarters on Kohat Road in the Saddar area was thwarted early Monday morning at around 8am, according to security sources.
Officials said the attackers carried out a suicide blast at the main gate of the FC Headquarters. Following the explosion, two other militants tried to force their way inside the compound but were shot dead by security personnel.
Security sources confirmed that all three attackers were killed. They added that the exchange of fire has now stopped.
