Dubai: The JF-17 Thunder proved to be a steady crowd-puller at the Dubai Airshow 2025, where people gathered around both its flying demonstration and static showcase to get a closer look at the multirole jet and its advanced Block-III model.

Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) Kamra is taking part in the exhibition this year, highlighting its aviation and aerospace capabilities. Its display covers the JF-17 programme, locally developed avionics, and a range of maintenance and overhaul services.
For the show, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has brought two JF-17 Block-III jets, one performing in the aerobatic segment and the other positioned in the static lineup with various accompanying weapons.
Flying display:
During the aerobatics portion of the show, the JF-17 carried out a series of precise manoeuvres that immediately caught the eye of aviation fans and industry experts. Many spectators later headed to the static display, where they took photos and spoke with PAF staff to learn more about the jet. Several visitors said the display was impressively executed, praising the seamless coordination of the PAF crew.
At the static section, PAF representatives briefed guests on the Block-III variant, explaining its avionics, multirole features, sensors and available weapons. The full weapons loadout on display further heightened interest, giving people a chance to study the aircraft’s layout up close.
Largest event:
The Dubai Airshow 2025 has set a new record, bringing together more than 1,500 exhibitors and attracting around 148,000 industry professionals.
Nearly 500 delegations from 115 countries are attending, while over 200 aircraft are featured in both static and aerial displays, making this the biggest edition the event has ever seen.
The five-day show, which began on Monday, is packed with daily flying demonstrations, defence-related announcements, and commercial aviation showcases. Among the highlights, the JF-17 continues to draw steady attention from visitors.
This year’s edition includes 440 first-time exhibitors and hosts delegations from military and civil sectors worldwide. With its extensive range of commercial jets, military aircraft, private planes, and unmanned systems on display, the 2025 airshow stands out as the most expansive in the event’s history.
