In the first Blind Women’s T20 World Cup 2025, Nepal’s Blind Women’s cricket team defeated Pakistan by 10 wickets.
Chasing a target of 171 runs, Nepal reached the total in just 13 overs without losing a wicket. Banita Pun scored a remarkable 107, while Manakshi Choudhary contributed 43 runs.

Pakistan, batting first, posted 158 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Mehrin Ali played a standout innings for Pakistan, scoring 77 runs, but six of her teammates were dismissed via run-outs.
Nepal was penalized 12 runs for a slow over rate, setting them a revised target of 171 runs, which they achieved comfortably.
Pakistan’s Blind Women’s team will play their fourth league match against Australia Blind Women’s team tomorrow, November 19.
