Yamaha to stop motorcycle production in Pakistan, assures after-sales support

Web desk: Yamaha Motor Pakistan (Private) Limited has confirmed that it will stop producing motorcycles in Pakistan, citing a shift in its business policy.

Yamaha stops motorcycle production in Pakistan

The company announced the decision in a statement shared on Tuesday and thanked customers for their loyalty over the years.

The notification read: “Due to a change in our business policy, we would like to inform you that we will discontinue manufacturing of motorcycles. We sincerely appreciate your long-standing support and loyalty.”

In a message later posted on Facebook, Yamaha assured riders that it would continue to stand by them despite halting production.

The company said, “Our promise to you continues; from after-sales service and providing spare parts, Yamaha will remain by your side, because your trust has always been the voice that said, Dil Nay Kaha Yamaha.”

Officials explained that spare parts will remain available through authorised Yamaha dealers across Pakistan.

Warranty services and customer support will also continue under the existing scheme.

Yamaha to stop motorcycle production in Pakistan

Yamaha urged its customers to contact the company through its website, email, or WhatsApp for any assistance. It expressed gratitude to the community of riders who made the brand part of their lives.

The decision marks the end of motorcycle manufacturing in Pakistan for Yamaha. The company stressed that after-sales support and supply of parts will not be affected.
