22 militants sent to hell from Bannu

RAWALPINDI: Security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in Bannu district on 24 November after receiving reports about the presence of Indian-backed fitna al khwarij militants.

According to ISPR, troops engaged the militants’ hideout, and after an intense exchange of fire, twenty-two militants were sent to hell.

“A sanitisation operation is under way to clear the area of any remaining India-sponsored operatives.”

The statement added that security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue the counterterrorism campaign under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” vision, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, to eliminate foreign-supported terrorism from Pakistan.
