US president Donald Trump has faced a serious decline in public popularity since US alliance with Israel to carry out strikes against Iran.

A survey by a British news agency shows that Trump’s approval rating has dropped to 36% following recent developments linked to the Iran conflict and rising fuel prices. According to the findings, his support had previously remained between 47% and 40% after assuming office.

The survey also revealed that 61% of Americans opposed the decision to carry out strikes on Iran, while 35% supported the move, indicating a divided public opinion on foreign policy decisions.

The decline in popularity comes in the wake of escalating tensions involving Iran, along with the economic impact of increased global fuel prices.

Observers note that geopolitical conflicts often influence domestic approval ratings, particularly when they affect energy costs and overall economic stability in countries like United States.

Experts suggest that such factors—including international conflicts and inflationary pressures—are playing a key role in shaping public perception of leadership in the current environment.
