He praised the diplomatic efforts of Shehbaz Sharif along with other friendly countries, highlighting them as commendable contributions to regional peace.

Anwar Ibrahim stressed the importance of reducing regional tensions, strengthening adherence to international law, and encouraging serious and sustained diplomatic dialogue to move toward peaceful resolutions.

Pakistan’s move to offer mediation is being viewed as a notable diplomatic success, reflecting its ability to engage with both sides and act as a bridge in sensitive international conflicts.

The initiative has helped position Pakistan as a potential facilitator of dialogue at a time when global tensions remain high.

Mediation efforts—such as those supported by Pakistan—are seen as important steps toward opening communication channels and reducing the risk of escalation.
