Web Desk: Under the Green Pakistan Initiative, Green Tourism Private Limited is playing a key role in promoting tourism development and investment in Pakistan.


Through Green Tourism, a strong strategy and effective policy framework have been established to boost tourism in Pakistan. In 2025, over 1 million international tourists visited the country, reflecting an 820% increase compared to previous years.


Renowned global organizations, including BBC and CNN, have listed Gilgit-Baltistan among the world’s top 25 tourist destinations.


To facilitate international travelers, Pakistan has simplified visa processing and introduced “Visa Prior to Arrival” for citizens of 126 countries. The e-tourism portal “Tourism on the Palm” enhances the visitor experience, making travel easier and more modern.


Green Pak Hotels & Resorts has completed 17 projects over the last two years. For 2026–27, plans are underway to open 10 more hotels and resorts in locations including Gaddani, Soo Nimiani, and Hunza.


Green Tourism promotes sustainable growth in Pakistan’s tourism sector through world-class infrastructure, preservation of cultural heritage, and the promotion of adventure tourism.
